Official Launch of the Global South Journal of Applied Research

The Global South Journal of Applied Research (GSJAR) is pleased to announce the official launch of its online scholarly publishing platform.

GSJAR is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed and open-access journal dedicated to publishing rigorous, context-sensitive and solution-oriented research addressing practical challenges affecting societies, institutions and communities across the Global South.

The journal welcomes locally grounded and ethically conducted scholarship that connects evidence, theory, policy and professional practice. Its broad areas of interest include education and human development, psychology and community wellbeing, public health, governance and public policy, business and livelihoods, technology and digital society, environment and sustainability, social inclusion, research methodology, programme evaluation and implementation research.

GSJAR seeks to strengthen the visibility of scholarship produced in and about historically underrepresented regions while supporting equitable South-South and South-North scholarly exchange.

The journal is published online by Educators Plus, New Delhi, India, and provides immediate open access to its published content.

Authors, reviewers, researchers, practitioners and policymakers are invited to engage with the journal and contribute to its academic development.
