Editorial Board
The Global South Journal of Applied Research (GSJAR) is guided by an Editorial Board comprising academics, researchers, professionals and practitioners with expertise across applied research, education, psychology, health, governance, public policy, business, economics, technology, sustainability, social inclusion, research methodology and related interdisciplinary fields.
The Editorial Board contributes to the journal’s academic direction, disciplinary development, editorial standards, peer-review framework and commitment to ethical, transparent and responsible scholarly publishing. Members may also support reviewer identification, manuscript assessment, policy development, thematic collections and the continuing improvement of the journal’s scholarly quality.
Editorial decisions are made independently and are based on the relevance, originality, methodological quality, ethical integrity, contextual sensitivity and scholarly or applied contribution of each submission. Membership of the Editorial Board does not guarantee publication and does not influence decisions concerning manuscripts in which a member has a personal, professional, financial, academic or institutional interest.
Institutional affiliations are provided solely to identify each member’s current professional position. The institutions listed on this page do not necessarily own, sponsor, publish, finance or endorse GSJAR.

Editorial Board Members
Peer Reviewers
The Global South Journal of Applied Research appoints peer reviewers according to the subject area, research methodology, geographical context and disciplinary requirements of individual manuscripts. Reviewers are selected on the basis of their academic qualifications, subject expertise, research experience, methodological competence and absence of relevant competing interests.
Reviewer service does not automatically constitute membership of the Editorial Board. The identities of reviewers and the contents of review reports are managed in accordance with the journal’s double-anonymous peer-review process, confidentiality requirements, competing-interests policy and publication-ethics framework.
Reviewers must treat manuscripts as confidential documents, provide objective and constructive assessments, disclose relevant conflicts and refrain from using unpublished content for personal, professional, institutional or commercial advantage.
Editorial Independence and Conflicts of Interest
Editors and Editorial Board members are required to disclose any personal, professional, financial, academic, ideological or institutional competing interest relating to a manuscript.
Where a conflict exists, the concerned editor or board member will not participate in the screening, reviewer selection, evaluation, discussion or editorial decision concerning that submission. Editorial responsibility will be assigned to an independent editor who has no relevant conflict.
Manuscripts submitted by editors, Editorial Board members, staff members, publisher representatives or individuals closely associated with GSJAR are subject to the same editorial and peer-review standards as all other submissions. Such manuscripts will be handled independently, and the submitting individual will have no access to confidential reviewer identities or editorial deliberations beyond what is ordinarily provided to an author.
The publisher, Educators Plus, does not influence editorial decisions on the basis of commercial, institutional, political, personal or financial considerations.
Editorial Board Membership
Editorial Board membership is based on verified academic qualifications, relevant subject or methodological expertise, professional experience, publication record, contribution to the journal’s multidisciplinary scope and willingness to support its editorial and ethical standards.
Membership is an active scholarly responsibility and does not constitute an honorary title. Members may be expected to support manuscript assessment, reviewer identification, policy development, disciplinary representation, special issues, journal promotion and periodic editorial consultation.
Membership does not imply financial, administrative, legal or institutional responsibility for GSJAR unless such responsibility is expressly stated in a separate written appointment.
All proposed members must provide current and verifiable information concerning their designation, institution, country, institutional email, scholarly profile, areas of expertise and competing interests. Appointment is confirmed only after verification and consent.
The composition of the Editorial Board may be reviewed and updated periodically to maintain accurate affiliations, disciplinary breadth, methodological expertise, institutional diversity and geographical representation.
A member may be removed or redesignated where information becomes inaccurate, affiliation cannot be verified, conflicts are not disclosed, confidentiality is breached, participation remains consistently inactive, ethical standards are violated or continued membership presents a material risk to the journal’s integrity.
