The Global South Journal of Applied Research (GSJAR) invites original and high-quality manuscripts for its inaugural issue.

The journal welcomes research that demonstrates meaningful relevance to Global South contexts, communities, priorities, institutions or systems. Submissions may be local, national, regional, international or comparative, provided that their contribution to applied knowledge, policy, practice or community development is clearly established.

GSJAR considers original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, policy and practice papers, conceptual papers, case studies, field reports, brief research reports, methodological papers, implementation studies, programme evaluations, invited perspectives, short communications and book reviews.

The journal’s multidisciplinary scope includes education, psychology, health, governance, law, public policy, business, economics, livelihoods, technology, artificial intelligence, digital inclusion, environment, agriculture, sustainability, equity, culture, research methodology, psychometrics and impact evaluation.

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished and not under consideration by another journal. All submissions are subject to editorial screening and peer review in accordance with the journal’s published policies.

Authors should review the aims, scope, author guidelines and policies before submitting their manuscripts.
